Our Story
Built by someone who saw what comes after the call.
Marcus Culbreath spent 11 years as a fire safety and emergency response inspector. Eleven years responding to homes after hurricanes, power outages, car accidents, and the worst kinds of emergencies. Eleven years filing reports on incidents that the right preparation could have prevented.
Most of what he saw wasn't bad luck—it was missing tools, missing plans, and missing alerts. Burst pipes during a vacation. A car stranded on a dark highway with no emergency kit. A family without backup power during a week-long storm. Every one of them shared something in common: they were predictable, and they were preventable.
Marcus and his wife started GuardHaven together after years of seeing preventable emergencies go unaddressed—at home, on the road, and everywhere in between.
We started GuardHaven because safety and preparedness products were either over-engineered for professionals or under-engineered for the families who actually needed them. Everyone deserves to feel protected—whether they're in their living room, their car, or miles from civilization.
